Programme Rules
These rules set out the principal requirements of the TPOAF Monthly Business Grant. The current information published on the website applies to each application window.
1. Residence
Applicants must reside in Delta State at the time of application and must provide accurate residential information.
2. Business purpose
The programme is strictly for a genuine business idea or an existing business. Grant funds must be used for the business purpose described in the application.
3. Monthly application period
The scheduled application window for the current month runs from 10 August 2026 to 20 August 2026, using Nigeria time. Applications cannot be submitted outside the published window.
4. Application limit
An applicant may submit one application for a monthly application period. Applicants must not create duplicate accounts or use another person’s identity to submit additional applications.
5. Previous beneficiaries
A person who has already received a TPOAF business grant is not ordinarily eligible for another award unless TPOAF publicly states that repeat applications are permitted.
6. Application information
Applicants may be asked for contact information, residence information, business information, current or expected revenue, intended use of funds and a one-minute video explaining the business and proposed use of the grant.
7. Selection
Applications are assessed against the programme’s objectives and the quality, practicality and credibility of the information submitted. Selection is discretionary and submission does not guarantee an award.
8. Standard grant structure
The standard monthly programme provides one ₦100,000 business grant and one ₦50,000 business grant, together with mentorship and a business E-book.
9. Selected-beneficiary verification
Selected applicants must complete reasonable identity and bank verification before disbursement. Failure to provide accurate information or complete required verification may delay or prevent payment.
10. Disqualification
TPOAF may disqualify an application for material falsehood, impersonation, duplicate or fraudulent submissions, misleading media, unlawful proposed use of funds or other serious breach of these Rules or the Terms of Use.
11. Programme changes
TPOAF may make reasonable changes to the programme, dates or requirements and will publish material changes on the website.
